P90x3 Coming This Year!

Hi Gang!

Check out the video above.  That’s right!  You heard it right here!  I am SUPER excited to announce that P90x3 is launching by the end of this year.  Beachbody is starting to share some details on this program and here is what I know as of right now:

1.) WHAT IS P90X3?
Tony Horton calls P90X3 the ultimate excuse buster.  The original P90X program was a game changer in the fitness industry and introduced “muscle confusion” and “periodization” so average people could get extreme results. For myself, I ended up losing 100 lbs. using this program!  P90X2 was a “graduate program” for veterans of P90X.  It had stability balls and med balls, balance moves, etc. that can be mastered but will take some time.  Tony loves the P90X2 program but found the advanced moves intimidated many people. With P90X3, they condensed and simplified many workouts and packaged it all together in only 30 minutes.  Simply put, the goal is to get the same insane results in a shorter period of time.  Tony says that science is showing that the bulk of the results people get in a 45 to 60 minute workout is the first 3o minutes.  There will be NO BREAKS!  So, get ready to “Bring it”!

2.) WHAT ARE SOME OF THE PROGRAMS?  IS YOGA AN HOUR AND A HALF AGAIN?
The base kit has 16 workouts and the deluxe kit has 20 workouts. Some of the new programs include: Pilates, MMX (based on MMA fighting) CVX Cardio, Agility X, Isometrics, and so on.  The best news for me and many others is that Yoga is now ONLY 30 minutes! LOL!  Like the original P90X, there are several program schedules to choose from: “Classic”, “Lean”, “Doubles”, and a brand new one which interests me a lot because I love the Body Beast program: “Mass”.

3.) NUTRITION:
P90x3 has a simplified nutrition plan more in line with eating “healthier” and “choosing” healthier foods.  It is similar to the original Power 90 program that Tony Horton launched in the early days of Beachbody.  Something accessible for everyone.  Still, there will be plenty of information for those of us that like to track calories and macronutrients!

4.) SHOULD I COMPLETE P90X OR P90X2 BEFORE P90X3?
No!  P90X3 is the ultimate excuse buster and there is something for everyone.  There is “hard”, “super-modified”, and of course, “the move in between”.

As you can probably tell, I am SUPER excited to take on the X again!  The program is scheduled to launch some time before the end of the year and I’ll share more details as they are available. I plan to start a challenge group to take on this program together and some on my team have already committed to joining.  If you are interested in joining the rest of us, just drop me a message.
