“You got to BRING IT!”

I belonged to a gym and did the usual routine of weights, the treadmill, and the occasional fitness classes offered by the gym.  The problem was that I was not getting any results.  I was 275 pounds and I wanted desperately to get in shape.  I was frustrated.

I had seen the P90x infomercial on TV many times, but probably like many of you, I was very skeptical about these “infomercial” driven exercise programs. Those results could not be real, right?  I used to say that until I saw a friend of mine on Thanksgiving 2010 and he was in amazing shape.  I asked how he did it and he simply said, “I did P90x.”  I began to research it online and then I made the leap.

In my first 3 months, I dropped 22 pounds and got down to 253 pounds.  This was the lightest I had weighed in over 20 years.  I was hooked.  In my second round, I truly committed to the nutrition program and dropped an amazing 55 pounds in only 3 months!  My long term goal has been to get down to 225 pounds for as long as I can remember, but I surprised even myself and blew that goal out of the water by getting down to 198 pounds!



So, for those asking themselves, does P90x work?  The answer is YES!  If you truly follow the program and commit to the nutrition plan you will definitley get in the best shape of your life!   In just 6 months, I dropped 77 pounds and was below that 200 pound barrier that I never thought I would reach.

Is P90x a tough program?  ABSOLUTELY!  P90x stands for “Power 90 Day Extreme”.  P90x definitely is an extreme program and not for the faint of heart.  However, if you challenge yourself and commit to the program you can achieve amazing results.   Below are my 6 month results.
